I made three reproductions from my own bike with three different materials. Metal (6mm), ceramics and plastic pvc tubes. One by one I took them into public transport (which besides the metro and train are not allowed, also not outside rush hours).
I recorded the conversations between myself, the passengers and the driver who was the one deciding if I could or could not join. What was their decision based on? Is it a bike, is it not?
The end result was an audio installation.
